Keyboarding
Keyboarding is a one-semester, one-half credit course open to 7th and 8th grade students. This course is designed for students to develop and enhance touch skills for entering alphabetic, numeric, and symbolic information on a keyboard. Students compose and produce personal, educational, and professional documents. In addition, this course is a prerequisite for Keyboarding Applications, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology Fundamentals and Design, Multimedia and Web Technologies that are offered in high school. Keyboarding is also a foundation course for all advanced business courses and should be elected by all students who plan to become proficient in the use of computers.

Homework:
Students will not have regular homework assignments due to the nature of this course. Handouts/Notes will be stored electronically and will be accessible through Google Classroom.
